Shirley passed away peacefully at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence on October 11, 2025 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Marvin Cunningham, she is sadly missed by her son Glenn (VeAnn), her daughter Deborah (Lise), her granddaughter Catherine (Jarrod), great grandchildren William, Beckett and Chandler as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Shirley was a busy bee. She loved traveling and was always on the move, exploring new places with enthusiasm. Deeply involved in her church community, she gave her time, energy, and love generously. Her friends were very dear to her, and she nurtured those relationships with warmth and sincerity.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 St-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc H9H 2A7. Visitation from 10-11
a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. A reception will be held afterwards. Shirley will be buried at Mount Royal Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Teresa Dellar palliative Care Residence would be greatly appreciated.
