It is with much love and fond memories that we mourn the loss of Edith O’Farrell, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 61 on April 21, 2024.
Beloved Mother of Patrick David, she will be also missed by her siblings Isabelle Michaud, Raymond (Carol Anne), David (Sue), Mary, Kathy Diane and Richard.
Edie was a wonderful sister to her siblings and a dear mother to her son Patrick. Her professional career spanned 4 decades, including 20 years at KD Services working alongside a few of her sibs. Known as a meticulous, detailed oriented person, she was an important asset in all of her professional endeavours.
She loved to do crosswords and was a feisty Texas Hold’em card player. She will be missed by all of her friends. A special thank you to the exceptional staff at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence for making Edie’s last weeks as comfortable as they were.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a service at 1:30 p.m. followed by a reception at the Voluntas Funeral Home, located at 4695 St-Jean Blvd., Dollard des Ormeaux, Qc H9H 2A7.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence would be greatly appreciated.
Special thanks to the Lakeshore Hospital staff as well.

C’est avec stupéfaction que j’ai appris ce décès et je voulais dire à tous ceux qui l’ont connue et appréciée que mes pensées vous accompagnent. Nous garderons de Edith le souvenir d’une personne qui aimait beaucoup son fils, sa famille et ses amis. Les quelques années qui nous ont permis de la fréquenter resteront dans nos beaux souvenirs; Sincères sympathies.
