Daniel Piché, born on November 16, 1964, in Sudbury, Ontario, passed away at the age of 60 on October 9, 2025 in Montreal, Quebec. Predeceased by his parents Maurice Piché and Noëlla née Tessier, he is survived by his two beloved children, Samuel and Elizabeth. As the youngest of four siblings, Daniel leaves behind his sisters Francine (Donald Audas), Joanne (Harry Schulz), and his brother Raymond (Leita Piché). He is also mourned by three nieces, two nephews, one great niece and three great nephews.

Above all, Daniel took immense pride in his children, who were truly the centre of his world. As a single father, he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to raising Samuel and Elizabeth with love, honesty, and resilience. Though he may not have been perfect, Daniel gave everything he had to ensure his children were safe, supported, and understood how deeply they were loved. His legacy endures in the strength and compassion he instilled in them.

Daniel had a varied work life and was never afraid of hard work. Over the years, he held many jobs, including positions at Eaton’s, Domino’s Pizza—where he both made and delivered pizzas—Viceroy, and later Dormez-Vous, where he sold mattresses. Regardless of the role, Daniel took pride in his work and found joy in connecting with the people he encountered along the way.
Even though Daniel spent much of his later years in solitude, he formed deep and lasting friendships throughout his life. He was known for his big heart, talkative nature, and his talent for making friends wherever he went. While he could be stubborn and strong-willed, Daniel was also endlessly caring and generous, always willing to help others in any way he could.

Those who knew Daniel will fondly remember his sense of humour, his storytelling, his determined spirit, and most of all, the deep and unconditional love he had for his friends and family.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
