It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luigi Scandella on November 25,2022 at the age of 93.
He will be sorely missed by his loving wife of 67 years Rita Faccone, children Lea (Steve), Giacomo (Joanna), Diego (Manuela), Maria (Giovanni) , grandchildren Riccardo (Angela), Davide (Amanda), Joseph, Julia, Daniel and Kelsey and great grandchildren Rino, Alessio, Paolo and Giacomo. He is survived and will be missed by his sister, his sisters in law and his many nephews and nieces.
He was a generous and kind man, always willing to lend a hand. His smile and the twinkle in his eyes would welcome you and make you feel at home. His joy of life came from spending time with family and friends, applying his trade, and spending time in the great outdoors.
The family will receive condolences at Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 Boul. St. Jean, Dollard des Ormeaux. H9H 2A7 on Friday, December 2nd from 12h30 to 2h00.
Funeral service and communion will held at 2h00 pm, followed by a private reception for extended family.
The family requests that Covid precautions be taken including the wearing of masks.
In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to the Centre Hospitalier de St. Mary’s, 3830 Boul Lacombe, in Montreal H3T 1M5 in memory of Luigi Scandella.
