In Pointe-Claire, on September 7, 2024, Pio Alfonsi, husband of Diane Bissonnette, passed away at the age of 75 years old. He leaves behind his two sons, Philippe (Patrycja) and Sébastien (Véronique), his grandchildren (Alexia, Elena, Victoria, Dimitri, Ricardo, Anthony and Livia, his brother Giacomo (Milay) as well as other family and friends.
The Celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 11 am to 4 pm at Voluntas, 4695 St-Jean Blvd. Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Voluntas.ca). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Teresa-Dellar Palliative Care Residence.

À Pointe-Claire, le 7 septembre 2024, à l’âge de 75 ans, est décédé Pio Alfonsi, époux de Diane Bissonnette. Une Célébration de sa vie aura lieu samedi le 5 octobre 2024, de 11h à 16h au salon funéraire Voluntas, 4695 boul. St-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Voluntas.ca). La famille apprécierait un don à la Résidence de soins palliatifs Teresa-Dellar au lieu de fleurs.

October 25, 2025 at 1:42 pmPio was a mensch and a Renaissance man with a multitude of talents and virtues and assets and no sins on his ledger. He loved baby animals and going to the arboretum to hum songs of praise to the children of Nigeria who he donated money to for help. He cared for his children and grandchildren like a mother of jewels and the world is a sadder place without this master of the woodshop
