Liv passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, QC.
She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion and generosity.
Beloved mother of Soleil (Dan) Pollock (Marie-Josée Hue), Cedar Machinek (Nathan) and Erik Pollock. Also proud and loving grandma of Francis and Henri. She will be missed also by her siblings Layne Alvaer and Colin Alvaer, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
The family would like to express special thanks to all of the doctors, nurses and others at the Montreal Jewish General Hospital who compassionately cared for her in her last few days.
A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on July 29, 2023 between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Pitfield House of the bois-de-liesse.

Tu es la tante que avec qui j’ai été le plus près dans ma vie, j’en suis choyée. Tu es la femme la plus gentille que je connaisse. Ton perpétuel sourire était contagieux.
