BALL, Lillian (née Aubut)
- June 18, 2025

1925-2025
It’s with a very heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, Lillian Ball, on June 18, 2025, at the remarkable age of 100. Born in Percé, Quebec, Mom was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Wesley (Wes) Ball.
Mom lived every day of her life displaying the qualities that we should all aspire to: Kindness, generosity, compassion, and good humour, doing so with a quiet dignity that was truly inspiring. Always in a good mood, always smiling, and hardly ever uttering a harsh word about anyone.
A devout Christian who devoted her time not only to her family, but to her community as well. She was a wonderful role model for her children, David, Lorraine, Bruce, Douglas, and Suzanne, granddaughter Sydney, and everyone else who had the distinct pleasure of knowing her.
Very special and heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at CHSLD Chateau sur le Lac for their kind and compassionate care during Mom’s last few months.
To celebrate her long and well lived life, the family will receive guests at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at St. Edmund of Canterbury Parish, 105 Beaconsfield Blvd, QC., with funeral mass to follow at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Centre or the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
R.I.P., Mom. We are eternally grateful to have had you as such a big part of our lives for so long. Words fail to convey how much you will be missed. Hugs to Dad.

June 28, 2025 at 10:20 pmDignity. Thoughtfulness. Kindness. A desire to help if at all possible. Dedication to family and community. This was her legacy and one that will allow her to remain immortal through all the people she touched. Her values were so inspiring that whenever one might have pause about the direction of the world, one would only need to remember her for optimism.

August 25, 2025 at 4:47 pmMes sympathies a toi et toute ta famille.
