1934-2022
Peacefully, surrounded by her children, Christine passed away May 26, 2022, at the age of 87. Predeceased by her loving husband Thomas Barnes, her parents, Garnet Johnston and Mazel Barr, her sister June (Kent) and brothers, Phillip (Mavis), Kevin and Richard. Dear mother of Joel (Joyce), John (Heather), and Mary Jane (late Graeme). Loving grandmother of Joshua, Noah, Garnet and Tate. Eldest sister of Wilhelmina, Robert (Debby), Edward, Graham, Donald (Nancy) and Charles (Bonny). She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Memorial service will take place at St Columba-By-The-Lake in Pointe-Claire, on June 9 at 1 p.m.
A graveside service will take place at Castleford Union Cemetery in Renfrew, Ontario, on June 11 at 2 p.m. a reception will follow.
A special thanks to the compassion, respect, and dignity shown by all the staff of the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated.
