What heartbreaking news. I first met Mak when we walked for Magda in 2009. He came to cheer us all on. I remember thinking, ‘what a kind and humble man.’ In the years thereafter I came to learn how true that was of him. May he rest peacefully.

Makar était un homme exceptionnel et gentil. Sa disparition a attristé ceux qui le connaissaient et l’appréciaient. Le souvenir de l’agréable personne qu’il était restera toujours avec nous. Que son âme repose en paix.

Very sad to hear this tragic news. We were school mates, lived in the same neighborhood, and rode the same school bus home for years. It was great to reconnect with him at our reunion in 2019. I found him to be the same gentle, kind and sweet person that i left in 1968 (53 years ago) when i emigrated to the United States. May God have mercy on his soul, and my deepest condolences to the family

We can reflect back on those happy years at SR Telecom with Makar as a memorable participant in a spirited sales force! Indeed, I can thank him for sending me off for technical talks with NIOC (National Iranian Oil Corporation) in Tehran! We shall miss his company at SRT retirees coffee rendezvous at DDO shopping center. Our coffee cups will be raised in his memory!
