Cody Michael Bouchard

May 12, 2000 – February 3, 2020

It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Cody Michael Bouchard after a courageous nine-month battle with cancer.  Parents Dave and Elaine and brother Kyle were by his side during his ordeal.  He will be sadly missed by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and multitude of friends.  Heartfelt thanks go to the incredible team at the Jewish General Oncology Department and donations to their foundation would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.

A funeral service will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church (413 Main Road, Hudson, Qc J0P 1H0), on Saturday on February 15 at 11 a.m.  The family will receive condolences at Whitlock Golf & Country Club (128 Côte Saint-Charles, Hudson, Qc J0P 1H0) from 1-3 p.m.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Voluntas (514-695-7979, voluntas.ca).

I’m at a loss for words but no parent should ever have to endure this. I had the pleasure of meeting Cody through the years at football games and not only was Cody a very good player but a very polite young man. My deepest condolences to you and your loved ones.

My husband and I are deeply saddened. We got to know Cody through his life guarding at the Senneville pool and his attendance of Mac high school where our son Trevor, who’s autistic, also went to school. Cody has always been kind and caring toward our son, he really stood out that way. At Mac graduation, he introduced himself to my husband and I as Trevor best friend and wrote a nice note in his school year album. I have a very nice picture of both of them together at graduation.

Cody was a kind, warm hearted and luminous person. You have every reason to be proud of him. What a great loss Our sincere condolences.
