April 29, 2020

On April 29th at the age of 83 and after a courageous battle, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian, beloved husband and best friend of 59 years to Mary, incredible father to Nicola (Peter) and Sarah (Victor), cherished granddad to Joshua, Emma and Molly and treasured brother to Vincent, Maureen and Gerard. He leaves behind a loving extended family in England, as well as many dear friends in Montreal, Bahamas and beyond.
He was a gentleman and a gentle man, patient and kind to all who crossed his path including his co-workers at UNESCO in Paris and ICAO in Montreal, his fellow parishioners and choir members at St. Edward the Confessor, and the many golfers, curlers, singers, actors, musicians and lawn bowlers he met along his way.
His family wish to thank the doctors, nurses and staff in the ICU and 4 north at the Lakeshore General Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation.
Details to celebrate his life will be communicated when time and circumstances permit.

I’m so sorry for your loss Nicola.
I bumped into him a few months ago at Walmart. He was one of the last of the bunch left. May God test his soul and give you comfort.
