CHARUK, Claudine

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Claudine Charuk, at the age of 79, on February 18, 2025, peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones, at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence in Kirkland.

In addition to her husband, Gilles Delisle, she leaves to mourn their children Nicolas (Cameo), Louis-Philippe (Daniel), Julie, Frédéric (Nancy), Christian (Josée-Anne); their grandchildren Charlotte, Ariane, Gabriel, Justine, Luka, Felix, Xavier, Sarah and Thomas; her sister-in-law Lise (Paul) and her brother-in-law Yves (Marianne), as well as many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Claudine was known for her boundless generosity, her big heart, her talent for bringing people together and her love of singing; It is a safe bet that Saint-Pierre has just found a new ally in the organization of its spring choir.

As a token of sympathy, a donation in her name to the Teresa Dellar Residence Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Montreal would be appreciated.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday June 7th as of 10 am, in the St-Joachim de Pointe-Claire Church, 2 Sainte-Anne Ave., Pointe-Claire, H9S 4P5. A ceremony paying tribute to her will be celebrated there at 11 am followed by a reception as of 12h30 pm at the Centre nautique Baie-de-Valois, 90 Lakeshore Dr., Pointe-Claire, H9S 4H7, where a light lunch will be served.

C’est avec un cœur gros que nous vous annonçons le décès de Claudine Charuk, à l’âge de 79 ans, survenu le 18 février dernier, paisiblement et entourée de ses proches, à la Résidence de soins palliatifs Teresa Dellar à Kirkland.

En plus de son époux, Gilles Delisle, elle laisse dans le deuil leurs enfants Nicolas (Cameo), Louis-Philippe (Daniel), Julie, Frédéric (Nancy), Christian (Josée-Anne); leurs petits-enfants Charlotte, Ariane, Gabriel, Justine, Luka, Felix, Xavier, Sarah et Thomas; sa belle-sœur Lise (Paul) et son beau-frère Yves (Marianne), ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, parents et amis.

Claudine était reconnue pour sa générosité sans bornes, son grand cœur, son talent de rassembleuse et son amour du chant ; il y a fort à parier que Saint-Pierre vient de se trouver une nouvelle alliée dans l’organisation de sa chorale du printemps.

En témoignage de sympathie, un don en son nom à la Fondation de la Résidence Teresa Dellar ou à la Société Alzheimer de Montréal serait apprécié.

La famille recevra les condoléances le samedi 7 juin à partir de 10h, en l’église St-Joachim de Pointe-Claire, 2 Av. Sainte-Anne, Pointe-Claire, H9S 4P5. Une cérémonie lui rendant hommage y sera célébrée à 11h suivie d’une réception à partir de 12h30 au Centre nautique Baie-de-Valois, 90 Chem. du Bord-du-Lac, Pointe-Claire, H9S 4H7, où un goûter y sera servi.
