We are gutted. You’ll never meet a nicer man on the face of this earth. One of the best days of my life is when Greg and his family moved in beside us. We’d cut our lawns listening to CHOM full blast and when we finished, there was Greg’s arm extended over the fence clutching an ice cold beer. What a lovely man. Chantal and I will miss him dearly. Our heartfelt and deepest condolences to Lisa, Ashly, Sabrina, Chelsea and Nick. May God spare you further sorrow.

My deepest sympathies to Lisa and family. Greg, Lisa and the kids lived with my brother Doug who was quadraplegic. Nick was born while living at uncle Dougs’. In later years up until Dougs’ passing, Greg was his morning care and I was his nighttime caretaker. Both of us were on 24 hour call. Even through his battle with cancer, Greg never missed a day caring for my brother. He will be missed by many and I will always hold a place for him in my heart. Rest in peace my friend.

Heaven is a better place for having Greg there. Family friends for 35 years, we saw each other threw ups and downs, childrens births and many many happy occassions. A man of few words, Greg was a kind, honorable, family oriented man, and always with a gentle way and smile. My kids don’t remember a time he wasnt in our lives, Ill never forget when he stepped in for Laurie when she needed him most, with his kind and caring way. Whenever asked how he was, he would say “Life is Good” My love goes out to his mom, Lisa, my best friend, Ashly, Sabrina, Chelsea, Nick and Sadie. Ill always be there for you, Take comfort in the amazing memories you made together, and know he is smiling down on you. xox

A gentle man who could get a smile from anyone. A man who believed in family more than anything. An infectious laugh, huge smile and a larger heart. This loss leaves a big hole in our hearts. Rest in peace Greg.

To Greg’s Family my Deepest Condolences, so very sorry for your loss.
Greg was a super guy, they do not make them much nicer. Amazing Father, Grandfather and Husband to Lisa. Greg has been a friend of mine for 25 years approximately, we have had many beers together, stories, and many, many laughs.
I am honoured and to have been a friend of Greg’s, we normally spoke once a week on the phone, most times about nothing, say hello, how are each other’s families etc, but always kept in contact, and as mentioned see each other for a beer or 2 and more once in a while.
You will be missed, but never forgotten.
Till we meet again, RIP Greg❤️

Greg was an amazing person and was so full of love for his family and friends. I have so many great memories growing up with him and even though we were so far away in physical distance, every time we spoke it was like I just saw him yesterday. (And always lots of laughs ❤️) He was like another big brother ( both he and Gary) and I will always have a special place in my heart for him and his crazy sense of humour ❤️

I hope that the special memories and love you all shared with him will help you through this difficult time. Sending all my love and lots of hugs. ❤️ Cheryl (affectionately nick named by Greg – giggles)

Very sorry for the entire family’s loss. Greg was a very nice gentle soul. He was also very brave. I remember when we were kids, we got into a confrontation with some racists while playing shinny hockey at an outdoor rink. Greg was out in front defending all of us. Very brave soul as well. Very saddened by his passing.
