DAVIDSON, James
July 2, 2023

With deepest sorrow, we announce that James Christopher Davidson, age 44, passed away peacefully after a year-long fight with cancer on July 2nd 2023. He was surrounded by his family.

He will be missed immensely by his mother Carol (née Paice), big brother Sean (Melissa), little sister Vanessa (Shawna), his niece Harper – who was his pride and joy, and many great friends.

We know Jamie will now be reunited with his late father Leslie.

He was always loyal and caring, and would do anything for his family or close friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the nurses, doctors and staff at the Cedars Cancer Center for their care over the past year, as well as all other caregivers who stepped in when needed.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to make a donation to the Cedars Cancer Center.

It is comforting to read that Jamie’s love for his family has been recognized by others. Jamie’s love was not restricted to his immediate family, but was shared with others in his extended family. Jamie called or texted Elaine and I on a regular basis to touch base with us, to see how we were doing, or to discuss some topic of interest that we shared. No matter how busy he was, he always found the time for a call or a text which we will sadly miss.

Dear Carol, Sean and Vanessa, I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine the pain and grief at this time.
I think back at the great times hanging around with Jamie as kids, during the seemingly endless summers on Bruce street, and it always brings a smile to my face.
    Rest in peace Jamie.
