It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Pierre Desilets on September 22, 2023, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Karen Tymchuk, devoted father to Olivia and Maxime. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers Bernard (Sophonie), Charles (Lucie), Antoine (Sophie), nieces Gabrielle, Évelyne, Béatrice, Mathilde, Emma, nephews François-Xavier, Victor, Robert and Liam, his goddaughter Rosemarie, as well as other relatives, colleagues, and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 Saint-Jean Blvd. in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Joachim Church, 2 Ste-Anne, Pointe-Claire, Qc H9S 4P5.
Expressions of sympathy can be made in his memory through donations to the MUHC Foundation.

During that time I have learnt so much from Pierre. While he will be remembered for his many professional achievements and contribution to the Electrical Industry, to many who have worked beside him, he will also be remembered for his passion, intelligence, and presence in our meetings. Pierre’s blend of respect, humor and intelligence made him a force of influence and a trusted advisor we relied on. He is missed and will be remembered as a respected colleague and friend.
