DONOGHUE, Keith
November 19, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Keith Donoghue on November 19, 2023, at the age of 53.

Beloved husband of Kerry Jorgensen for 28 years, he will also be deeply missed by his daughters Emily and Shaylee, his mother Beverley Donoghue (Carveth), his brother Steve Donoghue (Blessilda Mamenteo). Keith will now be reunited with his late father Kevin Donoghue. He will also be missed by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues.

Keith impacted everyone he met and had many passions and hobbies. He loved music, telling jokes and had a boisterous laugh-you always knew he was in the room. He was an avid athlete and sports fan. He played soccer and football in his youth, coached his daughter’s soccer teams, and later in life discovered an enjoyment for curling. He was known for loving a good steak dinner and turned his love of BBQ into a hobby.

He built a successful financial planning business with a great team, which is a part of his life he was extremely proud of. He was a great businessman, but people, were at the heart of every decision. He fostered an environment that felt like family for staff and clients alike.

Over the last three years, he fought a long and arduous health battle, with many complications. Our only hope for him now is that he can finally rest and have peace.

Very well said Maria. I knew him for 20 years and work for him and Laurie for the last 3 years. I have not met a more honest, sincere and caring individual and I was privileged to have him as my boss. He will always be remembered and he is still present in our office. He comes up in our conversations and meetings. That is the effect Keith had on anyone who knew him. I did not hear the tribute you did for him on the radio, but clients said it was wonderful. Be well.

My wife and I first met Keith (many moons ago) at a course our church offered just before marriage. His visits to our home were always highly anticipated as he was like one of those much loved family members you got reunited with once a year, like on Christmas or New Years. He will be missed but not forgotten. RIP Keith. Best wishes to all family and friends that are dealing with the loss.
