With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Leanora Beatrice Dryden-Taylor. At 5:21 a.m. on March 7, 2026, Leanora smiled gently before taking her final breath and entering into the loving arms of her Eternal Father.
Leanora was a woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family. She was known for her warm heart, wise words, and nurturing spirit. Her home and life were centered around family, faith, and caring for others. She carried herself with dignity and grace and was always ready with encouragement, comfort, or a listening ear. To many, she was a guiding light whose love and kindness left a lasting impression.
Leaving behind to cherish her precious memories are her beloved children: Bernadette (Sebesta), Roy (Hyacinth), Roselind, Norma (Barney), Lillymay, Keith, and Priscilla.
She is also lovingly remembered by her dear siblings: Henrietta, Hyacinth, Leonard, and Sarah.
Leanora’s legacy continues through her 26 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren, as well as her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and love.
She was predeceased by her siblings Serita, Mortimer, Roland, and Charles, who now welcome her home in eternal rest.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we give thanks for the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared so freely. Her memory will live on in the stories we tell, the lessons she taught, and the love she planted in all of us.
A celebration honoring the life of Leanora Beatrice Dryden-Taylor will be held at The Voluntas Commemoration on March 25, 2026.

I love her and cherish the times with her on the phone and the first time I visited Canada when she invited me to come from England to spend time with her and the family for my 21st birthday many moons ago. She was one of the closest siblings to my dad (Rowland). She was a caring person. But she said it as it was. Firm but kind. She will always be in my heart and the hearts of all her loved ones. My sincere condolences go out to the rest of the family and friends. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. The next face she will see is the face of our Saviour.

She treated me like her own daughter, always looking out for me, encouraging me, and believing in me even when I doubted myself. That kind of love and care is something you never forget.
I’m forever grateful for the role she played in my life. People like her don’t come around often, and I’ll always carry the lessons and warmth she gave me.
