Upon joining the Pointe Claire Lawn Bowling Club, Alex became a member of note, participating in club activities and always willing to assist in any manner he could. We will miss his wisdom and guidance as our Club President and as a bowler, his skill on the “green”. Deepest condolunces to family members.

It was with great sadness that Odette and I heard of the passing of Alex. He will be missed by many who were lucky enough to have crossed paths with him. Alex was a quiet man who generated so much energy, he was a happy person, he had a kind face, a great smile, he was intelligent, and he respected everyone around him.
He was an avid bowler, a fierce competitor, but a friend on and off the green. I always enjoyed playing with or against Alex, I will miss him.
Our heartfelt sympathies to family and friends
    Your friends,

    Dear Alex,
only know you since last summer, a much too short time. You leave a big void at the Lawn Bowling Club and still, you will always be with us when we bowl.
    May you rest in peace.
