September 15, 1945 - August 23, 2026
Delfina Giannascoli, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away suddenly on August 23rd, 2026. She spent her final moments surrounded by her family. She leaves behind her husband, Camillo Castagna, her daughters, Angela (Errol) and Rita and her grandchildren Peter Julian (Alessia), Cassandra and Tristan (Emilie).
She will always be remembered for her wisdom and her passion for keeping the family together with her incredible cooking. She will live on forever in our hearts.
The family will receive condolences at Voluntas on Monday, August 31st from 5-9pm and the funeral service will be held at Transfiguration of our Lord (11775 Rue Filion, Montréal, QC H4J 1T4) on Tuesday, September 1st, at 12pm followed by the burial will be at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery at 2pm.

August 31, 2026 at 2:21 pmLe mie più sentite condoglianze a tutti in famiglia per la perdita della vostra cara Delfina: moglie, mamma, nonna devota, e per me una cognata sempre presente negli alti e bassi della vita. Saggia, comprensiva, di poche parole ma sempre firme nei suo principi, una donna che con la sua serena pazienza riusciva a farsi sentire senza mai perdere la calma… per me: un esempio da seguire ed imitare. Grazie, Delfina, per tutte le occasioni che mi hai dato de ammirarti nella tua calma saggezza.
