Born on February 26, 1944, Helen passed away peacefully with her family at her side on February 20, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving husband of 54 years, Raymond Latulipe, her son Richard (Kay Moore) and her daughter Julie (Shep Abbey), all of the West Island of Montreal. Helen was the fifth of eleven children born of Clothilde Pinard Bergeron and the late Gerard Bergeron. She also leaves to mourn, her siblings Bernice Primeau (the late George) of Cornwall, Yollande Richer (Neil) of Cornwall, Jeannine Lortie of Brampton, Lorraine Welsh (Jim) of Cornwall, Maurice Bergeron (Jeannine) of Casselman, Sylvio Bergeron (Marielle) of Sherbrooke area, Diane Bergeron (Ludwik Piotrowski) of Cornwall, Richard Bergeron (Martin Townsend) of Toronto, and Dan Bergeron (Sylvia) of Cornwall. Predeceased by her brother Yvon Bergeron. She will be remembered for being our loving mother and a devoted wife. Always concerned about others until her final day. Beyond that quiet and unassuming exterior, she was a woman full of life, hope and love. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all the staff and volunteers of the West Island Palliative Care Stillview.
A celebration of her life will take place at St. Joseph’s Villa (St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Center: 14 York St., Cornwall, Ontario K6J 5T2) on Saturday March 18, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Helen’s memory to the West Island Palliative Care Residence would be greatly appreciated (www.wipcr.ca, 514-693-1718).
