LEGROW, Joanne
June 18, 2022

September 6th 1960 – June 18th 2022

On June 18, 2022 at the age of 61, Joanne passed away peacefully, after a short and intense battle with cancer. She will be sorely missed by her beloved husband Giovanni Nudo, her sons Adriano, Jordano, and Christiano, her sister Laura, her brother Allen, her in-laws, nieces and nephews, and her many friends.

Joanne had an exuberant personality and a generous heart. She loved her family, friends and dogs unconditionally. She was able to make friends wherever she went, and had a passion for reading and dancing. She always enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially at Comic Con and Fan Expo.

Joanne always encouraged others, offering quiet counsel and boisterous support at the same time. She truly was your loudest cheerleader no matter what.

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their compassionate care.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, June 28th from 1-4 p.m., and again from 6-9 p.m., with eulogies presented at 7:30 p.m. at Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 St-Jean Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9H 2A7. A livestream will be available during the eulogies for those unable to attend the service (see the link below).

In lieu of flowers donation to the Canadian Cancer Society for Gallbladder Cancer Research would be welcomed by the family.

Our sincere condolences to the entire family. Joanne was a very special lady and one of the reasons we got involved with comiccon. I know she’ll leave a big hole in the lives of everyone who knew her. She may be gone but she’ll never be forgotten.

My sincerest condolences to you and the boys Giovanni. Although we haven’t had much contact over the years, I love you all. You are always in my thoughts and just know that Joanne will be sorely missed. I cannot find the words to say how much she meant to me. You are all in my thoughts and hope you feel the love always.

My sincerest condolences to the family and loved ones that held Joanne dearest in their hearts. I only just worked with Joanne for a little over a year and I was really impressed by her stories and the bright energy that she brought to the office and our team. I will miss you Joanne.

Our sincerest condolences to Joanne’s family. The UK side of the family didn’t get to know Jo”s boys but we know what it’s like to lose a treasured loved one,, having lost our own daughter last year. Joanne will never be forgotten and we in the UK will sadly miss her smiling face for all eternity. Rest in peace JoJo in the arms of your Mum Elizabeth and your Dad Earl. Along with your brother Johnny. Cousin Yvette. Your Nan and granddad Taberner.
