️️In Loving Memory of Carolyn Mary McConnell (née Daley)
December 12, 1942 – August 9, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn McConnell (née Daley), former wife of the late Edward Graham McConnell, peacefully in Montreal on August 9, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born in Montreal on December 12, 1942, Carolyn lived a life of compassion, quiet strength, and service to others. She was known for her love of Bridge, her quick-witted humor, warm heart, kind nature, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. A longtime volunteer with NOVA West Island, Carolyn gave generously of her time and care to those in need.
Carolyn is lovingly remembered by her children Steven (Chantal), Catherine (John), and Colleen (Mike), by her adored grandchildren: Cameron, Caitlyn, and Naithen; Sydney and Matthew (Leah); Mitchell (Aiyana) and Jamie, by her sister, Sister Joanne – (Pauline) Daley, her brothers Larry Jacobs and Michael (Natalia) Jacobs, her little Missy and close friends, who will forever hold her memory close.
Carolyn’s love for her family, her gentle spirit, and her quiet dedication to helping others will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carolyn’s memory may be made to the SPCA or NOVA West Island, both causes close to her heart.
