It is with profound sadness that we have to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Catherine B. McEntee, beloved partner of Daniel Chorazyczewski.
She was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Rooney) McEntee. She will be deeply missed by her sisters Maureen (Alan), Patricia (Patrick), nephews, nieces, and numerous family in Canada, Ireland, England, the USA and Dubai. She was a long time recently retired employee of Bombardier Inc.
She leaves behind a large empty void that will not be filled. Catherine enjoyed her gardening and was very much loved for her loyalty, quick wit and sense of fun!
“Low lie the fields of Athenry
Where once we watched the small free birds fly
Our love was on the wing we had dreams and songs to sing
It’s so lonely round the fields of Athenry”
She is and will be forever irreplaceable to all of us.
The visitation will be held at Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 St-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9H 2A7, on Sunday, February 20th. No vaccination passport is required. Flowers can be sent to Voluntas prior to noon on Sunday.

February 19, 2022 at 3:47 amTo my Tia,
I can’t believe you’re gone.
Your infectious laugh and wicked sense of humour always brought a smile to my face, you did things your own way and we loved you for it. You took pleasure in the simple, yet most important things in life, your friends and your family.
Growing up, I always looked forward to seeing you so much whether that was on our family trips to Canada or the times you came over to spend Christmas with us, which felt that little bit more magical just because you were there.
It breaks my heart knowing that there will be no more of these experiences with you, but I’ll cherish deeply the memories and stories I do have and will enjoy telling Teddy all about his great aunty Tia.
The love you had for us was pure and unfiltered, you’d always make sure you hugged us and told us you loved us. It brings me great comfort to know that the last time we saw each other we enjoyed the simple things together, we had a beer, hugged each other, told each other we loved one another and said safe travels.
So to my Tia one final time, sláinte, safe travels… I love you.
Always in our hearts, your nephew Peter, Laura and Teddy x x

February 19, 2022 at 1:26 pmTo my darling sister, Catherine
The pain is so deep. The loss unmeasurable. The sadness a cloak . The grief unbearable!
A sister is…..
Someone special a friend so true,
Exactly the same, yet different
From you.
She knows your thoughts without a
word,
Understands your feelings before
they’re heard,
May drift apart but remains near,
In her heart she holds you dear,
Your secrets safe, your faults untold,
A bond of trust she will uphold
So cherish her as she does you,
For remember you are a Sister , too.
Catherine, we have an unbreakable bond that binds us forever!
This cannot not ever will be broken. I will keep you close in my heart now
…… forever!
Your heartbroken sister ,
Maureen and Alan

Thinking of our sisters weekends, musicals and enjoying the summer breeze on the deck. Singing our hearts out, dancing around the living room have all been flooding my memory as I think of you. Your quick wit and love of a good laugh made every get together memorable.

February 20, 2022 at 3:31 amDear Uncle Danny,
My deepest condolences. This is a sudden loss and way too soon. May we thank God for blessing us with an angel like Katherine into your lives. I will forever remember her Irish charm! Her contagious laugh will always be imprinted in my memory. She was so kind and welcoming to my boyfriend, at the time. She made an impact not only on him, but also me for how much effort she put in welcoming him and making sure he was not isolated. That truly touched my heart and speaks volume of how wonderful she is. I hope you got to spend precious, loving moments with her during her final months. The pandemic allowed you both to spend amazing quality time in your home, for that you should be thankful for. Although life may not seem fair, we must remember we belong to God and to him we shall return
My prayers and thoughts are with everyone who was graciously touched by this amazing woman. May she rest in peace
