I got to know Kevin through the Thursday Pro Duffers golf group, and had the pleasure of being in the same foursome for 3 years. I made it a point to be sure to be in the same cart with him, so we could chat and joke for 4+ hours as we flailed away at the ball. I truly loved spending that time with him, such a kind, generous man, who laughed at all my stupid jokes regardless of whether or not they were amusing. We talked about everything in life, and got along famously. I will miss you Kevin, and think of you every time we tee it up on Thursdays. My sincere condolences to Kevin’s family.

We are very sad to hear of Kevin’s passing, May the good Lord welcome him into the gates of heaven for eternal rest. Kevin was a wonderful volunteer at the West Island Palliative care residence where we befriended him at the start of their missions. You could always count on Kevin every Wednesday to help in the kitchen, with any task at hand. He had
quite a sense of humour and managed to get a chuckle out of everyone he spoke with. His tenderness towards, family, patients and staff was very warming. Dearest Nancy we extend our deepest sympathy with you and your family at this difficult time. May you keep all the loving memories and fond times shared together with Kevin, close to your hearts. Sincerely, Valerey & Peter Chirke
