Lana Elizabeth Normandeau
Lana passed away on November 9, 2023 at the age of 61. She will be sadly missed by her brother Stephen, sister Andrea, her Aunts, Nieces and nephews. As well as other relatives and friends.
With a heavy heart, we bid farewell to Lana, a soul who encapsulated compassion and simplicity in every facet of her life.
Lana’s genuine and caring nature defined her— Her love for the uncomplicated joys translated into her daily existence,
where she found immense delight in baking and crafting thoughtful tokens of comfort for family and friends, be it soups, bread, or treats,
sharing them generously to bring warmth to those around her.
Lana’s versatility was always surprising—aptly earning her the title of ‘Miss Fix-It’ for her proficiency in diverse skills.
From painting rooms to patching walls, sewing, and crafting, she reveled in keeping herself occupied, with
her needlework serving as a testament to her artistry, intricate and flawlessly executed.
Her affection for her feline companion, Caesar, was evident, and her fascination with wolves spoke of a deep connection to the wild and untamed.
Lana’s unique fashion sense was a reflection of her individuality—Comfort 101, complete with a menagerie of cat or wolf motifs gracing her wardrobe,
and a rainbow of leggings, each adding a vibrant hue to her life.
She was a cherished presence at family gatherings, infusing the air with her infectious laughter and heartwarming smiles.
Lana’s departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
Her absence will be a poignant reminder of the light she brought into the lives of those she touched.
In honoring Lana’s memory, let us carry forward the simplicity, warmth, and kindness she bestowed upon others.
Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit will continue to live on in the cherished memories she leaves behind.
The family will receive condolences at the Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 St-Jean Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc H9H 2A7, on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 1 – 2 p.m. The service will be held at 2 p.m., followed by a reception.
