PARADIS (Née Taylor), Elizabeth
- June 11, 2025

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Liz) Paradis (née Taylor), beloved wife of the late Andre Paradis, who passed away peacefully in Montreal on June 11, 2025, at the age of 86. Predeceased by her brothers, Ivan and Bruce Taylor, she is lovingly remembered by her son, Eric (wife Evangeline), daughter, Natalie (husband Todd), cherished grandchildren, Austin and Nia Paradis, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for family will be remembered by all who knew her.
Born in Bromptonville, QC, on November 15, 1938, Liz lived in Montreal and began a long career with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC). There she met her partner, Andre, in 1961. They married in 1962 and started a family in the 1970s. Liz found happiness in gardening, reading, and spending time with her pets. She gave unwavering dedication to her immediate and extended family. After her mother, Dorothy Taylor, passed in 2002, Liz became the Taylor family matriarch. She ensured everyone remained closely connected despite life’s distances and journeys
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Elizabeth’s life at Paroisse Sainte-Genevieve in Sainte-Genevieve, QC, on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11am. We look forward to gathering to honour her memory.
Instead of flowers, donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the SPCA, causes close to her heart.

August 29, 2025 at 2:02 pmMy wife Sandy and I send out our Sincere Condolences to all Family and Friends. My Dad was Elizabeth’s Mom’s Brother making us Cousins and as a young Boy I remember Elizabeth visiting us in Sawyerville, Quebec where we grew up. Like her Mother Elizabeth was a very kind hearted person and we will always remember her great spirited and friendly manner. Hugs to All.
