Dear Dawn, Richard, Clifford, Christine and all her grandchildren and Great Grand Child; I have know your mom since the early
nineties when she drove in to our place in Mountain View, to introduce herself as a fellow Canadian, Ontario Teacher and member of a unique and extra ordinary group of women, who all met on Wednesdays to play cards, all summer long, aka, The Ladies of The Lakes!
Pat invited me to join them at cards the following Wednesday. That was in 1991 and I have known your mom since then and have
thought of her as a dear friend who also loved Mountain View and everything about it and the people who live there! I do not have
to tell you that your mom was a gracious host and community organizer who took on any role that needed her help! Some early
mornings she would paddle by and we would just exchange waves and not see each other except at St Helen’s Church or at our
weekly luncheons and card games! Pat will always be that smiling, lovely lady who gave great hugs and had an infectiou laugh, and who loved her family, her friends, MtView, ice cream, golf and Life itself! My love and prayers to you all as you try to deal with such sorrow. Know that she is looking down on us all with Wayne and that she fulfilled her motherly and friendly duties with such class!
Bless you all and know that we all are grieving with you for dear, Pat and Wayne.

Dear Dawn, Clifford, Christine, Grandchildren and Great Grandchild: Your mother’s great warm spirit, subtle sense of humour, great joy for life, and huge sense of care and compassion for others will always be in my memories of her. One small memory that says so much about Pat is how she had such fun sharing the Mardi Gras beads she had brought to Mountain View from Gulf Shores celebration with her Ladies of the Lakes here. She loved this special place and found many ways to celebrate that love with her friends here. Wishing you comfort, courage, and peace in knowing that Pat is now, once again, in a good place.

To Dawn, Clifford, Grandchildren and Great Grandson. I was so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. I met Pat at a Cocktale party many years ago while visiting my Brother who had a cottage in Mt. View.. it wasn’t until years later when she became a friend. We both belonged to Ladies of the Lake and drove together to the luncheons each week. On nice days we would walk together with a few of our friends. Pat always wore a smile. She was such a sweet lady. I will truly miss her. My prayers are with you in this time of grieving. God Bless.

I feel lucky to have met Pat in the last few years. Although Pete and I knew the Peebles, it was through Karen McGee and a golf game that I started playing golf with Pat. She was a lovely person, friendly, fair, fun and never complaining about difficult situations. Lucky to know her – Lucy
