It is with heavy hearts & deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Dolores Platt. Dolores left us peacefully at home on September 2nd, at the age of 84, surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves to mourn her children Diane (Gordie), Gary (Leslie), Brenda (Pierre), Garth (Kim) and Darlene (Enzo), her 13 grandchildren & her 14 great grandchildren. Her family is her greatest legacy. Her strength and compassion will live on through them.
Dolores dedicated many hours, volunteering and organizing various events that brought people together. She was always passionate and proud of her fund-raising efforts for cancer research. In lieu of flowers, to honour her devotion to this cause, please feel free to make a donation in her name, to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Due to present restrictive circumstances, a private graveside service was held by the family. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
She will remain forever in our hearts.
