Rafael Ramirez y Gonzalez
April 25, 2020

Rafael Ramirez y Gonzalez passed away on April 25th 2020, at the age of 81.
Rafael will be deeply missed by all his friends and family, his children, Viviana and Rafael Jr, his granddaughter Vanessa and Hilka Fernanda and companion Michelline Orr, and her family. Not to be forgotten, his cherished Karate family and Freemason Fellows.

No project was too big for dad. Dreams were at a hand’s reach if you were willing to go after them. He lived with an insatiable and contagious passion for life, always eager to see what would happen next.  He never stopped imagining, creating and believing while remaining eternally young at heart and an unbeatable spirit. His refusal to let his illness win was true to his character and spirit. May his spirit fly high where there is no limits.

Our family wishes to express our deeply and heart felt gratitude to the doctors, medical teams, social workers, beneficiary attendants, whom all made a difference and touched our hearts. Your humanity, support and care will forever be remembered. We would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to the teams at the CLSC du Lac-Saint-Louis (Janet and Sarah), The Cedar Cancer Center at The Victoria Hospital, Lakeshore General Hospital, St-Anne’s Veteran Hospital and West Island Pallative Care.

As there will be no service or mass due to COVID19. Direct donations to the West Island Pallative Care will be welcomed in contribution of their outstanding support towards the families they touch.

I only knew your Dad through your words. This photo made me smile. I am so sorry for your loss. He will always be a part of you. The perfectionist in you that always does her very best. He sounds like he had a full and wonderful life. He is finally resting and watching over all of you. Sending prayers.
