April 13, 2026 at 7:53 pmRest in peace Darroch. I will never forget your dedication to your family, your community and war veterans. You lived a very rich life: how many naval pilots can also say that they babysat Kristin Scott Thomas?
I will also remember your perfect reciting of Flanders Fields and the echo of “The Answer”:
“Sleep peacefully, for all is well.
Your flaming torch aloft we bear,
With burning heart an oath we swear
To keep the faith to fight it through
To crush the foe, or sleep with you
In Flanders Fields
Deepest sympathies to all the family.

April 14, 2026 at 12:19 pmAlways the gentleman, Darroch inspired a generation of photographers at The Teapot, guiding them to become creative in their own right. One piece of advise that I will always remember from him is that a picture is not a picture until it is printed. As a board member of The Teapot , his calm and intellect provided guidance during difficult times. As a friend and mentor he will be dearly missed. The World is a little smaller without him. Please accept our sincere condolences and heartfelt sadness at the loss of such a wonderful man. It was an honour to have been a part of Darroch’s life.
