My heart is heavy as I read this news about Maureen. I have been praying for her daily and felt so badly that she had to suffer so much. I know Pat, Keith and Lianne will miss her terribly as will so many friends she has gathered over the years. Being her roommate at Prairie Bible Institute was a great year–getting to know her and her family. May God truly comfort you as you grieve for her. Love and prayers for the family.

I have so many fond memories of Maureen whom I met in ’86. we hiked & did trail maintenance together and most importantly, Maureen gave me my first 2 cats Bud 7 Licky. I was so sorry to hear of her illness, initially and now of her passing. My sincere condolences to her family and especially to Liane, I am so very sorry for your loss.

I am grateful to have been informed of Maureen’s death. We we have had good visits by phone over the last few years. Although I knew she was in a fair amount of pain, she never complained. Quite the converse. She expressed her gratitude to God for His grace in the midst of her cancer. We spoke about mutual friends from high school at Prairie – especially Dorothy Cullum. My friendship with her was a gift from God. I grieve her loss here on earth but look joyfully at seeing her again in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Mo, we had so many good times in the woods and out. drinking wine, skiing, and too many laughs with Liane. It gives me comfort that you’re hiking with Dave now.
