March 26, 2024

Tuesday, March 26, 2024, an exceptional human has flown to the paradise. Her wonderful kindness, unconditional love, her amazing British humor, a fine connaisseur of beautiful things, international culture with her long career at the United Nations, and just an exceptional human has left us.

Born in London in 1946, she leaves to mourn her two children, Charlotte and Sébastien, her daughter-in-law Leah, her grandchildren Nolan and Dylan, and a large number of friends. Gillian lived a large part of her life in Pointe-Claire.

We will be celebrating her life on Saturday the 6 of April, on her birthday.

Visitation at Voluntas Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by an intimate gathering for family and close friends. 1:30 p.m.- 4 p.m. where a Eulogy and a small reception will take place.

I knew Gillian from ICAO and the baggy bags birthday group. She was very adventurous and loved to tell funny stories about her escapades. May your fond and loving memories of her help to bring you comfort and peace. RIP dear Gillian. With deepest sympathy on your loss.

Rest in peace, dear Gillian, surrounded by love and singing angels. I will always carry fond memories of your warm friendship and gentle adventurous nature. My deepest sympathy to Charlotte and the family. We are currently travelling on a cruise ship, with much regret unable to attend the service. We will pray for dear Gillian here.

I knew Gillian from ICAO, hiring her for many temporary assignments after she had retired. My deepest sympathies to all of Gillian’s family. May she rest in peace.
