September 8, 2023 at 4:40 pmBill, you had a tough beginning with asthma, but you overcame it . Sadly, now fate has dealt you a bad hand when you least expected it. I will miss discussing various subjects and problems with you, and listening to your wit and quick repartee. We will meet again at that “big cribbage game up there”.

September 9, 2023 at 10:46 amI was very saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. He was a good soul, and I will miss the discussions of current events and travel, and the many jokes. I will also miss the times when Bill would join my father and I for an animated game of cards. RIP Bill.

You always protected your family… always in their corner, taking care of business fiercely and with love. A stand up family man. Thank you for all the love and care you gave.

September 11, 2023 at 10:05 amDear William, (Bill) , how you will be missed. You were my shining star. You carved your way in this life, and left a legacy your family will be proud of. No one was left behind. You were tenacious, never relenting, at whatever task you attacked. You kept RESISTALOY flourishing for over forty years. Bill, my grief is great, and I tackle my sanity, that this has to be a mistake. I may be the big sister, but you, Bill were the “go to” guy for me and others. You had the answers. We enjoyed great time s playing cards and cooking great meals, especially when mom and dad were still with us. I recall cooking a turkey for you and Orise, when you arrived in Florida. You will live forever in my heart dear Bill. Rest in Peace

September 11, 2023 at 5:42 pmIt was with great sadness that I received news of my uncle Bill’s sudden passing. My condolences to Orise, my cousins Matthew and Melissa, and to my father, Gerard whom I know will miss the regular card games that were a great source of humour and friendly competition. The good ones leave us far too soon. Rest in peace, Bill.

September 13, 2023 at 2:17 pmBeing married to Billy’s cousin Ian St James (deceased 2017) in my later life was one laugh after another what with the great conversations we had and the meals we cooked and baked. Getting together with Billy and Orise here and also in Florida was always fun. Seeing Ian, Billy, Ron Friend and Donnie St James eating pizza in our house six or so years ago was a scream. The large St James family has always been great to know, Billy being one of the funniest. He really was a “good guy” as was his email address. It’s nice to know you are with Ian. Rest in peace, Billy, wherever you are.
