ST-JULES (NEE NEESON), Geraldine
- January 12, 2025

On January 12th, heaven received another angel. Geri reunited with her son Mike, her mom Lucille, her brother Danny and other cherished loved ones. Geri was a loving and devoted wife to Marcel, an incredible mom to Melanie, mother-in-law to Leith, an exceptional Grammy to Jadynn, Jackson and Ashley and a supportive sister to Terry, Brian, Kevin and Karen. She had an amazing network of friends, teammates, colleagues and family who were privileged to feel her energy, compassion, kindness and most of all, zest for life.
Geri could be found on the slopes, on the ice, visiting friends and family, at church, plays, concerts, sorority meetings, yoga, exercise classes, and new to her list of activities, pickleball. She was happiest when she was on the move, spending time with her grandkids and enjoying the sunshine on her face. She devoted her energy to helping others and extending acts of kindness everywhere she went. To quote a very special person “Geri was an angel in disguise on earth”.
She will be deeply missed by us all but her legacy will continue as we try to emulate her profound kindness and love of life.
Geri’s Celebration Of Life will take place on Saturday Jan 18th at 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Church: 106A Av. Anselme-Lavigne, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC H9A 1N8.
Service will be from 2 p.m.-3 p.m., followed by a reception in the church hall. The family will be welcoming guests starting at 1:30 p.m.
In place of flowers, if you wish, donations may be made in Geri’s name to MUHC Social Services.

February 17, 2025 at 12:03 pmLast week MarceI was so in shock when you told me that Geri had passed away. You had told me about 2 months ago that you wanted to move into a seniors home. That is why I thought you were moving. I met Geri years ago in my exercise class. I told her
she resembled my neighbor’s twin sister. In Dec. Geri asked me if my neighbor was still alive but I told her she had passed away. I did not know your last name but found the notice today on Voluntas. I am so sorry. Cherish the good memories that you have of Geri. I only know you from the Bridge at DDO Seniors. Mary-Ellen Kolkman
