Valerie/Val/ Vallie/ sister/aunt/ daughter/ worshiper/ ordained minister/ mother of dogs … Life was not always easy for Val, but she always found a way to find positivity and purpose in everything she was going through. She did this with her strength, resilience and faith. She was an inspiration to many (family, friends, prisoners she was helping…) with her words of wisdom and her eternal calmness. Val loved the simple things in life: time with friends, family and her beloved dogs (her latest Bella). Her beautiful smile and personality will be missed by all.
Our sincerest thanks to the Emergency Staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital and the ICU staff at the Notre Dame Hospital. You gave Valerie a fighting chance to survive her latest hurdle.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Voluntas (514-695-7979, voluntas.ca).
A celebration of life will be held at a later date (more than likely in the spring)..
Always remember to find your purpose daily, as Valerie did with her daily devotions.

February 16, 2023 at 10:04 amValerie, we ony met a few times at family gatherings due to the distance between us. Carol always shared the news of how you were. I remember her telling us how you survived that car accident that even the Firemen who rescued you could not believe . From there you went on to help many people and that I believe was your destiny. Your sister in law… Debbie
