February 1954 – March 2021
It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Daniel (Danny) Thompson. He was predeceased by his parents, Bun and Joe Thompson.
Beloved husband to Mary Thompson (née Dodds). He will be dearly missed by his daughter Leanne (Nick) and future granddaughter, son Bradley (Kavita), along with sister Jo-Anne Thompson, plus numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be private. In lieu of flowers please be kind to all First Responders and to each other.
Thank you to the staff members of the Royal Victoria Hospital (MUHC).
One thing for sure, he did it his way.

March 15, 2021 at 9:35 pmOh Danny Boy! Thank you for all the fun crazy times we had together over our many young years. There were so many! I remember when a bunch of us showed up to help paint the walls in your new rental place …we ended up painting each other instead of the walls with the paint rollers! Laughter was always our best medicine; and we laughed! These were the times of our lives! Hugs to my beautiful friend Mary, Leanne & Brad. Danny, you did it your way. Sleep well our friend. It’s time for us to tuck you in.

March 16, 2021 at 10:47 amDear Mary, Brad, Leanne and family,
i was shocked to hear of Danny’s passing- even when i last spoke to him on his birthday in February, he was still making jokes. I will always remember his dry sense of humour and his enjoyment of sitting on the sidelines watching everyone else run around! I know your hearts are all hurting, but his suffering is over. You will always love and never forget him.
Lots of hugs and kisses- that we can’t exchange in this COVID time!
