Known as Sammy T and revered by so many, his contagious energy and his profound love and empathy for every single person in his presence are undeniable. On February 16, 2023, Heaven undoubtedly gained one of the most beautiful, kindest souls in the world, Samson Kileshe-Kabwe Tshikuka, a son, a brother, a friend, a chef, and the world’s greatest uncle.
As the owner of Gourmet by Design, a true leader of the community and one of the best chefs in the industry, Sammy T revolutionized the food industry with his unparalleled culinary arts skills and reset the new standard for the ones to follow as intelligent, as brilliant, as innovative and unconventional as defines Sammy T, those who know Sam, know a humble, most caring, most giving, most loving, most pleasing, most generous being.
He is gone too soon, but not without leaving an extraordinary impact on all he touched through his infectious laughter and charismatic heart. His impression will remain stamped in our hearts forever.
He will be deeply missed by his loving parents Berthe Kabwe-Tshikuka and Jose Gaby Tshikuka, his siblings Mulumba, Kanko, & Mushiya, and Marie Louise, his beloved brother in laws Marlon and Lou, his
nephews who regard him as a big brother, Elijah Sullivan, Sankai Tshikuka Smith and Jakob-Ndeyah Sullivan, his nieces Kasai Smith, Kokaii Sullivan and Keleshe Smith, his girlfriend Marina Zaki and many aunts, uncles and cousins across the globe along with many cherished and dear friends.
