USYPCHUK, Lillian (Née Zaluzny)
July 13, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected but peaceful passing of Lillian (Zaluzny) Usypchuk on July 13th, 2023, at the age of 86 years young. Loving wife of John Usypchuk, proud mother of three daughters, Stephanie (Usypchuk) Street (spouse Richard Street), Cindy Usypchuk and Laurie Usypchuk (spouse Alan Attar). Lillian was a very proud grandmother to Matthew Street (spouse Catherine Harrison) and Caitlin Street.  She had the absolute pleasure of being a great grandmother to her two little jewels, children of Matthew and Catherine Street; Harrison 6 and Owen 4. Lillian was BaBa to her grandchildren and Babush to her great grandchildren. Lillian had one furry grandchild named Maya, a little 5-pound Maltese rescue who slept by her side every night, with Lillian giving her sweet belly rubs till she fell asleep. Maya is lost without her!

Lillian enjoyed using her iPad to Facetime with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, embracing all the special moments. Lillian was an amazing and caring mother always putting everyone’s needs above her own. She loved deeply and cherished her family with her whole heart. A stay-at-home mom, Lillian dedicated her whole life to her family.  She was an amazing cook, and she was always proud of her home. Entering her home was always warm and welcoming.  Lillian cherished all the milestones in the family and kept pictures close and family closer. Over the past few years, she loved watching Hallmark movies and playing word games on her iPad. It was the simplest pleasures that made her happy. A pedicure, sitting on the backyard swing, enjoying Christmas and holidays, dinners in restaurants, taking long car rides, and especially romance movies and game shows. My favourite memory is when the Ukrainian wedding march would come on the iPod, she would light up and start dancing to the music when she was younger and over the last few years, she would hum along to it. It was the first dance at her wedding to Dad.

Lillian loved with her whole heart, and it is so unfortunate that the family did not get more time to spend with her. The family will be lost without her. Lillian passed peacefully in her sleep not giving anyone a chance to say goodbye, hug her one more time or say I love you so much Mom! ….Or for Dad to say I love you just one more time!      ♥️⭕️❌♥️

I never met Lillian but felt a connection as she shared a name with my mother. I know how much Steph & her sisters loved her & how much they will miss her.
