VORPERIAN, Assadour Kevork

Assadour passed away at the Lakeshore General Hospital, Pointe-Claire, Québec, Canada, on January 29, 2026, just short of his 97th birthday. Husband of the late Hasmig Parounakian and father of the late Eddy Vorperian. He is survived by his sister, Ovsanna Vorperian Keoshgerian (London, England) and his brother Dikran (Shenorig) Vorperian (London, England). He is also survived by his nephew Harout (Seza) Nalbandian (DDO, Québec, Canada) and other relatives and friends all over the world.
Assadour dedicated his life to his work and family and his passion for sports in general and specifically to football (please do not call it soccer, it would upset him). He was instrumental in founding the Ethiopian football federation. He was a trustworthy and a very hard-working person. He will be missed dearly…
The celebration of his life will take place on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 boulevard St. Jean in Dollard des Ormeaux, QC., Canada H9H 2A7 between 4:00- 8:00 p.m., with words of remembrance at 6:00 p.m.
