A child of life walks the earth sowing seeds of love

Watering them with tears of family

Flowers blooming around her feet

Sweet smells enveloping her, holding her strong

Petals falling to the ground circling softly

Lifting her up to her new world

Souls of kindness waiting to greet her

In the self of acceptance

Rest well Tarna

In your Silent slumber

In your golden light

Warmed bright by the hearts

Who hold your name

“The truth, and the pleasant truth, should be spoken.”

In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to any supportive organization for the needs of women and children that your heart guides you to, in Tarna Wood’s name.

A private service where family received condolences and held hands in a heart already took place.

To the family of our dear sweet Tarna…my heart aches for the loss you have experienced. She was a precious soul whose giving heart knew no bounds. When we last chatted she was excited to be teaching children not to hurt snakes with Fluffy. Always opening her heart while trying to open other peoples minds and hearts. Her smile was enlightening and her laugh was infectious. She had a way of making everyone feel loved and important. The bright spot that was her life will shine in the night sky now reminding us all to be kind to one another. You all have my deepest sympathies as your loss will be beyond our comprehension. Please know that ahould therebe anything we can do for you to help ease your pain please do not hesitate to ask. Hold tight to all those precious beautiful memories to give you strength and courage. Look after both your physical and mental wellness. Journaling, counselling, naps and walks in nature will be a help in your journey back from the depths. If ever yourein need or an ear feel free to reach out to me….much love and everlasting light to you all during this impossible time.. Blessings to you all ❤

Your grief must be unbearable and I offer my deepest sympathy on your loss of such a genuinely beautiful soul. I worked with Tarna in animal rescue for several years and know how intelligent, kind, honest, sincere and mature she was. She was truly a bright light and her loss is beyond measure. Tarna did so much good in her short life and I always knew she would have been an amazing nurse. With deepest sympathy.
