ZORDAN NUDO, Tracy

October 01, 1964 – August 04, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of my beloved darling wife Tracy, on August 04, 2024, at the age of 59, following a prolonged and courageous battle with cancer. A very loving mother to Alexandra and Domenic, a passionate participant in life and activities, an encouraging and mentoring spirit to all, she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Tracy’s quick wit and humour, fierce sense of independence, joy of life and of new experiences, and her love for family, provided her with a strong sense of purpose and inner strength which served her well for her latest 8-year battle with metastatic cancer.

Tracy was a dedicated science teacher at Macdonald High School in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, until her illness prevented her from continuing in her chosen teaching career. Ever the mentor, she encouraged and enticed her students to be and achieve their best, to embrace the natural sciences and be unafraid to pursue the varied disciplines of advanced sciences as potential fulfilling careers. Tracy enjoyed attending various classes at the West Island Therapy & Wellness Center, including painting, photography, tai chi, sound meditation, and crafts. She became a Member of the Lakeshore Camera Club to pursue her passion for Nature Photography. Beyond the enjoyment she derived from these hobbies, she treasured her time with her kids, and the many opportunities and laughs shared while socializing with her family and her many diverse friends.

Tracy is survived by her parents, Francis and Carol Zordan of Litchfield, Connecticut; her husband Salvatore Nudo of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue; her daughter Alexandra (David), and her son Domenic; her sister, Pamela Zordan Breiner (Sean) of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania; her sister-in-law Josie Nudo Sylvestre (Aldo), of Montreal; her brother-in-law, Giovanni Nudo of Montreal; her nephews and nieces, Zachary, Madison and Collin Breiner, Philippe and Mathieu Sylvestre, Adriano, Jordano and Christiano Nudo; her uncle, Martin Healy (Pat) of Rising Sun, MD; her aunt, Sheila Healy of New Hartford, Connecticut; and her uncle, Gary Healy (Dawn) of Hartlepool, England; as well as many extended cousins.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will take place on September 07, 2024, at the Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 St-Jean Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC, H9H2A7. Visitation from 1-5 p.m. with a tribute at 4 p.m.  Tracy’s wish for the celebration is that everyone bring or wear something purple.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations “In Memory of Tracy Zordan Nudo” may be made either, to the Canadian Cancer Society, to Nova West Island , or to Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.
