On July 13, 2024, Vera Buchak passed away at the age of 98. She was a beautiful woman who was always impeccably dressed. Vera is survived by her loving daughters, Johanne, Orise, and Véronique, her adored grandchildren: Jordan, Melissa, and Rachel, and her great-grandchildren: Victor, Bazzy, Nadiya, Lyric, Muse, and Maeve.
She is now reunited with her beloved mother, Maria Kyshlak, and her husband whose birthday she passed on, Jean-Paul Séguin. We will deeply miss her sweet smile, boundless generosity, and kindness.
Vera peacefully passed away in her home surrounded by her three daughters, family friend John, caretaker Natasha, and the Ukrainian Orthodox priest Reverand Volodymyr Kouchnir. In accordance with her wishes, no formal service will be held. Instead, plans are underway to organize a celebration of her remarkable life.
