- November 21, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of W. Bro. Michael James Bugdale, on November 21, 2024 at a young age of 67.
After a long and arduous surgery Michael leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 22 years Dorothy (nee Nourse), his step-son Paul Loiselle, his father James Bugdale, his brother Edward (Carolyn Malboeuf), his twin sisters Cathy & Jackie, his step-sisters Andrea (Fred Dunphy) Elena (Ian Melrose) & Stephanie (Dan Campbell), his sister-in-law Nancy Nourse, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving, supportive friends and colleagues.
Michael is pre-deceased by his mother Catherine O’Reilly, Step mother Helen Prendergast and grandparents Philomène “Nanny”(Edward) O’Reilly and Leonard Bugdale (Mary French).
When he wasn’t busy planning his next vacation, and being a friend of Bill W, or watching old movies, Michael was very active in the Masonic Lodge as Past Master of Meridian Royal Alexandra Lodge and as Junior Warden with Two Mountains Lodge.
His favorite thing to do was to become Mikey the Clown for the Karnak Shriners and entertain the children at Christmas parades and parties.

November 30, 2024 at 12:11 pmSuch a shock to hear this sad news. I knew Mike via our mutual interest in building models and met him at our plastic model club. He was such a kind person and very unassuming. So easy to talk to and hungry to learn more about how to improve his modeling skills. He will be missed in our crowd. My deepest condolences to his friends and family.
