Angela Colford, 77, passed away peacefully at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by love and care on Tuesday, November 25th 2025.
Born in Newfoundland on March 26, 1948, Angela carried the warmth and spirit of her homeland throughout her life. In 1984, she settled in Quebec, where she built a life defined by devotion to family, kindness, and quiet strength.
Angela was the beloved daughter of the late Cyril and Joan Colford. She is predeceased by her brother Cyril Colford, sister Sharon Fennessey, sister-in-law Sheila Colford, brother-in-law Gerald Stone, and nephews Scott Elliott and Sean Colford.
She leaves behind her treasured children—Paul, Joanne (Antonio De Felice), and Gregory (Jessica Sauvé)—who were the heart of her world. Her grandchildren, Claudia, Caterina, Malcolm, Carla, Merrick, Melrik, Liam, and Olivia, brought her immeasurable joy and were cherished beyond words.
Angela is also survived by her sisters Brenda, Carol (Derek Barrett), and Gwen (Nick Hurley), brother-in-law Randy Fennessey, sister-in-law Pat Elliott, her dear friend Tim Fain, and Roberta D’Souza (mother of Malcolm and Merrick). She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends who knew her for her warmth, wit, and steadfast loyalty.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas à Becket Parish, 4320 Saint-Anne St, Pierrefonds, Quebec H9H 4Y7 on Saturday, November 29th at 1:30 pm.
The family will receive condolences one hour prior to the service. All who knew Angela are invited to join in honoring her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Centre, whose compassionate care brought comfort in her final weeks. Angela’s legacy endures in the hearts of all she touched, and her memory will be lovingly cherished forever.

I remember a particular time when I was around 5 and I spilled a drink on the carpet in mom and dad’s room. She helped me clean it up without them knowing and kept saying “you did the right thing sweetheart, you just used a little too much soap” :) I’m thinking of you all at this time, take care of yourselves.

Many memories were made while we spent time out on our patio with our patio group, Thursday evenings while we laughed and tried to hit the dart board while enjoying a few sips of wine and all those tags down evenings and tournaments we believed we were great bowlers. your Mom at Future and we became great friends. I have such wonderful memories of her. Her family meant everything to her. She spoke often of you all and I feel like I got to know you through her. I moved back to Nfld 4 years ago and we had spoke after I moved. As we were not recently in contact I was not aware that her cancer had come back. I have never met a person so full of life. She always had a smile. I admired her strength. May the love she had for you and you for her comfort you in the coming days. God bless!
