HARDING, Katelyn
- July 23, 2025

On Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the young age of 20 years old, Katelyn passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and closest friends.
She will be deeply missed by her father Christopher Harding, step-mother Harline Radojkovic, sister Cassandra, step-brother Christopher Parent, grandparents Carroll and Leslie Harding, Robbie Segal and George Sorger, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Our beloved Katie Bug fought a 2 year battle with cancer (Osteosarcoma). Katie touched countless hearts and brought a smile to everyone she met.
She now rests in peace and is not alone as she has joined her mother, Debbie Sorger. Thank you to all who have supported us during this battle and whom were present during the last 2 years of these most challenging times. The compassion, support and heartfelt love for Katie from the nursing staff on the D10 oncology unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital will forever remain in our hearts.
A gathering to treasure the joy for which Katelyn brought to countless lives will take place on Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 13:00h to 17:00h on the 2nd floor of the Sportplexe Pierrefonds hockey arena, 14700 Pierrefonds Blvd., Pierrefonds, Qc H9H 4Y6.
We kindly ask not to send flowers but rather a donation in her memory to the GoFundMe page would greatly be appreciated. https://gofund.me/6fa244ac
Please bring a memorable printed picture you may have with Katie with a personal message written on the back. This picture will be placed for viewing on a memorial table during visitation and gathered at the end to be kept as a keepsake, forever by her side.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Voluntas (life-bytes.com/voluntas/, 514-695-7979).

July 26, 2025 at 5:20 pmKatelyn and I were classmates every year from grade 3 to grade 6 and she was the only one who stayed in my class all four years. When I was new to the school, she was one of the first people who welcomed me. Even though we went our separate ways after elementary school, I always remembered her. In high school, she would often ask me how things were going, showing she still cared. She was someone I quietly looked up to, like a big sister. I’ll never forget her kindness, warmth and care that she showed during those early school days. My heart goes out to her family during this incredibly difficult time.

July 27, 2025 at 10:58 amI had the privilege of teaching Katie when she was in grade 8. She was the sweetest student and never failed to enter the classroom without a hello/goodbye. Even after switching to a different school, I always remembered her fondly. She was a gem. I remember her dad scaring her one night that her teacher had sent home an email about her “behavior” when it was all praises for the wonderful human she was. May she rest in peace. My deepest condolences to all of Katie’s family and friends.
