HARDY, ROLAND

1938-2024

Roland Hardy passed away at the Jewish General Hospital on December 5, 2024, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Claudette Lefebvre for 60 years, he also leaves to mourn his children Patrick (Patricia Bellemare), Dominick (Marlies Beck) and his grandchildren: Christophe Hardy (Lydia Marcotte), Jonathan Hardy (Laurie-Ann Vallière), Nicolas Hardy, Isabelle Hardy, Sébastien Hardy, Eloïse Emard, Félix Beaudoin, Maya Beaudoin, his great grandson Robin (son of Christophe and Lydia) and great granddaughter Sidney (daughter of Eloïse Emard).

Several other family members will be saddened by his departure: Dr. Yves Mathieu, brother-in-law (feu Suzanne Hardy), Pauline Bérubé, sister-in-law (feu Martin Hardy), Claudette Hardy Pennucci, sister of the deceased (feu Gilbert Pennucci).

He also leaves a great void for his sisters-in-law Ida Talbot (the late Marcel Lefebvre), Nicole Lefebvre (Dr. Arnaud Samson), bothers-in-law Gérard Lefebvre (Jocelyne Houle), Lucien Lefebvre, Gaston Lefebvre (Carole Guay), René Lefebvre (the late Andrée Lapointe), as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A gathering will take place at Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695, Saint-Jean Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC H9H 2A7, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. A ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers, donations for the Parkinson’s research would be greatly appreciated..
