With her children all grown up, during her retirement, Betty set upon a travel adventure around the world with her sister-in-law and friend Phyllis Savage Page. Throughout her Golden years, Betty was often the social director and driver for her friends to the local Bingo games at various Parishes around Lachute and spent the last several years managing the financials for the Bingo Game at her residence in Pointe Claire.
Betty leaves behind her treasured family and extended foster family of loved ones — In addition to her children, her grandchildren, Ronnie (& Chris), Cory, Stephanie (& Christopher), Kyle (& Donna), Shaun (& Bella), John-Patrick and Vic; her great-grandchildren Gracie, Nicholas, Ethan, Soran, Alivia, Maddy, Isabelle, Brayden, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Vanessa, Domenic, William and Amelia. All of whom brought her immeasurable joy and were cherished beyond words.
Betty is also survived by her brother Chas and sister-in-law Doreen. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family (Barbara, Allison, Nancy and Marilyn), and countless friends who knew her for her warmth, wit, and steadfast love. She was preceded in death by her brothers Bill, George, Harry and her sister Eleanor.
