Jean King (nee Herrick) passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, at the age of 93 under the compassionate care of the nursing and medical staff at Lakeshore General Hospital. She is survived by her daughter Vicki Craig (Peter), and son Christopher, as well as seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Jean was a long-time staff member at the Royal Bank in Beaconsfield. She was an outgoing, vivacious, and kind person who made numerous lasting friendships at work, as a volunteer of many years at Thrift Shops for Nova, and as a long-time resident of Le Wellesley in Pointe-Claire.

Jean’s family would like to recognize and thank Mary Gunpat, Jean’s long-time caregiver and friend; and Jean’s close friends Pam, Susan, and Wendy Knell for the loving support and companionship they provided to Jean over many years.

In accordance with Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no funeral service is planned. In honour of Jean’s memory, please consider a donation to either Nova West Island or the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation.
