KUZAK HAYDEN, Petronela (Patricia)

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce that on June 5, 2024, Petronela (Patricia) Kuzak (Hayden) of Montreal passed away at the age of 88 years after a short battle with cancer.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Michael Hayden (Christine Sheppard) and Carolyn Hayden (Giulio D’Asti), her grandchildren: Trevor Hayden, Alexandra Hayden, McKenna Hayden, Paolo D’Asti (Vanessa Wellman), Stefano D’Asti (Marisa Paul) and Alina D’Asti and great-granddaughter Lilly D’Asti.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 33 years, James (Harry) Hayden.

A visitation will be held at Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695, boul. Saint-Jean Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec H9H 2A7, on Monday, June 10, between 6 and 9 p.m. and Tuesday commencing at 12 noon followed by service at 1 p.m. The burial to follow at 3 p.m. at Notre-Dame des Neiges Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be held following the burial at La verita restaurant, 11680 Salaberry Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, commencing at 5 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made in the name of Petronela Kuzak to the Terresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the caregivers who were there for her over the last 9 months, as she went through her palliative journey at home, where she was happy, enjoying her chocolates and ice cream bars not worrying about her illness.
