Died peacefully while holding hands with Teri, on Sunday Sept 8 at 12:20 at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leonardo Lepore and Vilma Cuccioletta , and his brother Raymond.
Survived by his heartbroken wife of 39 years, Teri (Teresa) Waldron. Will sadly be missed by his sons, Anthony and Jonathan, his 5 grandchildren. He will also be missed his step-daughter, Suzanne, the Waldron family as “Uncle Ron” by Mark and Karen, his 5 Aunts and Uncle Bob Lepore. He is sorely missed by Leo, our cat.
Ron was a proud member of the Legion Churchill Branch 91, where he was the secretary. Ron loved his hobbies; fly fishing, made his own flies, golfing, he played at several PGA courses, he was a violinist, played in the West Island Chamber orchestra , and an accomplished artist, having sold several paintings in Art shows and stores. He enjoyed the 2 Harley-Davidson’s he rode throughout Ontario’s and the northeastern U.S.
Visitation on Friday September 13 from 9:30-11:30, service from 11:30 at Voluntas, 4695 St. John’s Blvd. DDO, H9H 2A7 burial will follow at Field of Honour. A reception will be held after the burial from 14:00 to 16:00 also at Voluntas.
Donations in Ron’s name to Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, Nova Nursing or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 91 Ste. Annes.
A big thank you to the entire staff at Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence for their exemplary care and compassion that Ron was treated with.
